On generalized h-recurrent Finsler connection (Q921604)

\textit{S. Hōjō} defined a generalized Cartan connection \(C^{(p)}\Gamma\) which is determined by \(\phi^{(p)}=L^ p/p\) with a non-zero real parameter p, and investigated the fundamental function L(x,y) of an S3-like Finsler space [J. Math. Kyoto Univ. 21, 787-807 (1981; Zbl 0481.53026), Tensor, New Ser. 35, 333-344 (1981; Zbl 0473.53018)]. The purpose of the present paper is to generalize \(C^{(p)}\Gamma\) by replacing the metrical condition by a recurrence condition based on the notion of a hv-recurrent Finsler connection [Indian J. Pure Appl. Math. 20, No.8, 790-798 (1989; Zbl 0688.53011)].
