On the semi-axis \(x\geq 0\) the nonlinear matrix Schrödinger equation \[ (1)\quad \psi_ t=i/2[\psi_{xx}+2\psi \psi^*\psi],\quad \psi (x,t)\in M_{nn}({\mathbb{C}}), \] with some initial and boundary conditions is considered. Using an adequate method (the inverse diffusion problem), to equation (1) the linear problem \[ (2)\quad dw/dx(x,z)=izH(x)w(x,z),\quad w(x,0)=\{\delta_{kj}\}^ n_{k,j=1} \] is attached. The Weyl-Titchmarsh function \(\phi\) is defined for system (2), the problem of changing of the function H by \(\phi\) is solved and the evolution of function \(\phi\) is described.
