The graph of the function \(z(t):=x+iA(t)\) with \(\| A'\| _\infty:=\sup_{t} | A'(t)| <\infty\) is a Lipschitz curve in the complex plane. A. P. Calderón (partly with Y. Meyer) proved the \(L_2\)-boundedness of the Cauchy singular integral operator \[ Cf(x):=\frac1{i\pi}v.p.\int_{-\infty}^\infty\frac{f(y)}{z(y)-z(x)}\,dy \] for a small \(\| A'\| _\infty\) and conjectured that in the case of large \(\| A'\| _\infty\) the same is true. The conjecture was proved later by Coifman, McIntosh and Meyer. There exist ample papers dedicated to the topic, where generalizations to multi-dimensional case are treated. In the meantime there appeared papers dedicated to Calderón's conjecture in function spaces with values in Clifford algebra. The authors consider the generalization of Calderón's conjecture in function spaces with values in octonionic algebra, which represents one out of four division algebras (along with real, complex numbers and quaternions). Moreover, they obtain Plemelji formulas for the Cauchy singular integral operator.
