This very interesting book refers to the behavioural approach to the system modelling and control. First it gives the basics overview, and what is interesting, tries to explain the ideas on electrical and mechanical systems. Next the interconnection problems and control of linear systems is discussed in the behavioural framework. The esssential feature of this book is that the author provides many algorithms for solving various polynomial matrix theory problems to which the the behavioural theory for linear systems has been transformed. Matlab codes and many numerical examples together with acompanying illustrations have been presented too.
