Let \(f(x)=\lambda \exp(z)\) where \(\lambda\neq 0\) and denote by \(f^n\) the \(n\)-th iterate of \(f\). Suppose that the sequence \((f^n(0))\) is bounded and that the Julia set of \(f\) is equal to the whole sphere. It is shown that then there exists no probabilistic \(f\)-invariant measure which is absolutely continuous with respect to the Lebesgue measure. The result was obtained independently by \textit{N. Dobbs} and \textit{B. Skorulski} [Fundam. Math. 198, No.~3, 283--287 (2008; Zbl 1167.37024)].
