In the present paper the author has considered an inviscid Burgers equation with stable initial data. It is shown that Janicki and Woyczynski's conjecture is false in general when there are positive jumps. Along this way, it is shown that it contradicts another recent conjecture due to Shi about the lower tails of integrated stable processes.
