Multipoint third order Newton-like methods are studied in Banach spaces under Hölder continuity condition of the second Fréchet derivative \(F''\). Convergence of order \(2+p\) is established using recurrence relations. Numerical examples show the method to work when the Lipschitz continuity of \(F''\) fails.
