The author consider the semiclassical Schrödinger operator with smooth long-range potential that possibly has also finitely many Coulomb singularities. In particular, in dimension \(3\), also attractive singularities are allowed. The aim is to prove estimates for the asymptotic behaviour of the resolvent as the semiclassical parameter \(h\) tends to \(0\). The main result of the paper is that the Hamiltonian flow associated to energy \(\lambda\) is non-trapping if and only if the norm of the resolvent at \(\lambda+i \varepsilon\) with \(\varepsilon\in\mathbb R\setminus\{0\}\) is of order \(\mathcal O(h^{-1})\). Finally, the authors give examples when trapping or non-trapping occurs.
