Center manifolds and dynamics near equilibria of quasilinear parabolic systems with fully nonlinear boundary conditions (Q934163)

This article addresses qualitative properties of quasilinear systems of parabolic partial differential equations with fully nonlinear boundary conditions on domains with compact boundary. Specifically, the paper is concerned with the asymptotic behavior of solutions starting near an equilibrium. By building up on earlier work [J. Evol. Equ. 6, No. 4, 537--576 (2006; Zbl 1113.35110)], the authors construct and discuss the local center, center-stable, and center-unstable manifolds for the nonlinear problem. The main technical tool in this work is the use of nonautonomous cutoff functions and sophisticated regularity arguments.
