The purpose of this paper is to generalize the famous Opial inequality from 1960, to some time scale versions. For the theory of the time scales we quote e.g. \textit{M. Bohner} and \textit{A. Peterson} [Dynamic equations on time scales, Basel: Birkhäuser (2001; Zbl 0978.39001)].
