The first sandpile model which has been proposed in the literature is the so-called Abelian sandpile model (ASM) The present paper deals with another model which has been defined later by Zhang. This author conjectured some relations between these two models, and here one refines these conjectures and one shows in which way (that is to say under which assumptions) they hold. One focuses on Zhang's model with unit dimension, and the framework is completely probabilistic.
