The author studies the first and second-order accuracy implicit difference schemes for solving nonlocal boundary value problems for abstract parabolic equations with a strongly positive operator in arbitrary Banach spaces. The well-posedness of the difference schemes in discretized spaces of smooth functions and coercive stability estimates of the solutions are proved. The obtained abstract theorems are applied to difference schemes for approximate solution of the multidimensional higher-order parabolic equations. Numerical examples are not given. The presented results are based on the operator theory developed by \textit{A. Ashyralev} and \textit{P. E. Sobolevskij} [Operator Theory: Advances and Applications. 69. Basel: Birkhäuser. xiv (1994; Zbl 0803.65089)].
