The authors present a mathematical model to describe free turbulent two-phase jets. The authors consider steady axisymmetric dilute monodisperse particle-laden turbulent jets injected into a still environment. This model belongs to the Eulerian-Lagrangian one. Both the effect of interphase slip and the effect of particle dispersion have been taken into account. Some numerical results based on the model have been compared with experimental data.
