The paper describes the complex structure of equivariant compactifications of complex parallelizable manifolds for specific boundary divisors. Let \(\overline{X}\) denote a compact complex manifold, \(X\subset\overline{X}\) an open subset and \(D:=\overline{X}\setminus X\) a divisor with smooth irreducible components and only simple normal crossings. The sheaf \(\Omega^1(\log D)\) of meromorphic 1-forms on \(\overline{X}\) which are holomorphic on \(X\) and with only logarithmic poles is then locally free. The author analyzes the structure of \(\overline{X}\) in the situation where \(\overline{X}\) is \(\log\)-parallelizable with respect to \(D\), i.e., \(\Omega^1(\log D)\) is globally free. The results are essential generalizations of his paper [Osaka J. Math. 41, No.~2, 473--484 (2004; Zbl 1058.32011)], where \(\overline{X}\) was assumed to be meromorphically equivalent to a Kähler manifold. Let \(G\) be the identity component of the complex Lie group \(\{g\in\Aut \overline{X}\), \(g(D)=D\}\) and \(C\) the identity component of the center of \(G\). The manifold \(\overline{X}\) admits a natural stratification \(\overline{X}\supset(\overline{X}\setminus D)\supset (D\setminus\operatorname{Sing} D)\supset\dots\), and the irreducible components of the strata are \(G\)-orbits; in particular \(X=G/\Gamma\) for some discrete subgroup \(\Gamma\). It is shown that \(C\Gamma\) is a closed cocompact subgroup of \(G\) and that the natural fibration \(G/\Gamma\rightarrow G/C\Gamma\) can be extended to a \(G\)-equivariant holomorphic fiber bundle \(\pi:\overline{X}\rightarrow G/C\Gamma\) over the compact complex parallelizable manifold \(G/C\Gamma=(G/C)/(C\Gamma\cap\Gamma)\). In particular, every \(\pi\)-fiber \(F\) is \(C\)-invariant and a smooth compactification of a \(C\)-orbit. Moreover, \(F\) is \(\log\)-parallelizable with respect to \(D\cap F\) and this implies in a similar way as in the above quoted paper that the commutative group \(C\) and all their isotropy subgroups are semi-tori, i.e., quotients of \(\mathbb C^n\) by discrete closed subgroups which generate \(\mathbb C^n\) as a complex vector space. The bundle \(\pi\) admits a \(G\)-invariant holomorphic connection. On the other hand the author shows that holomorphic bundles with the above properties characterize \(\log\)-parallelizable manifolds when \(C\) and all its isotropy subgroups are assumed to be semi-tori. One important ingredient for the proof of these results is the study of the residues of logarithmic \(k\)-forms along the divisor \(D\), leading to the fact that \(d\omega\) is holomorphic for every logarithmic \(1\)-form on \(\overline{X}\). Toric varieties and specific Hopf surfaces are examples of \(\log\)-parallelizable manifolds. For further examples see also \textit{F. Lescure} and \textit{L. Meersseman} [Ann. Inst. Fourier 52, No. 1, 255--273 (2002; Zbl 0995.32012)].
