Let \(D\) be the unit disk and let \(f\in C^1(D)\cap C(\overline{D})\). Suppose that \(u\) is the solution of the Poisson equation \[ \Delta u=f,\qquad u|_{\partial D}=0. \] It is well-known that \(u\) is the Green potential of \(f\): \[ u(z)=-\frac{1}{2\pi}\int_D\log \biggl| \frac{1-z\bar{\zeta}}{z-\zeta}\biggr| \;f(\zeta)\;d\sigma(\zeta), \] where \(\sigma\) denotes the area measure. The author proves upper bounds for the norms \(\| u_n\| _{L^p(\partial D)}\), (where \(1\leq p<\infty\) and \(u_n\) is the normal derivative of \(u\) in \(\partial D\)), and \(\| u\rho^{-\alpha}\| _{L^p(\sigma)}\), (where \(\rho(z)=1-| z| ^2\) and \(-1+1/p<\alpha<1+1/p\)). The bounds involve the rate of growth of \(f\) as \(| z| \to 1\). The proofs are based on a theorem on coverings of supports of Borel measures outside of which the Green potentials of these measures are bounded by unity. This theorem has been proved by \textit{V. I. Danchenko} [Sb. Math. 194, No. 1, 63--88 (2003); translation from Mat. Sb. 194, No. 1, 61--86 (2003; Zbl 1054.31001)].
