Schauder decompositions and functional calculus (Q944348)

The author establishes a functional calculus with nice properties for continuous operators on some non-normable locally convex spaces, more specifically, for operators on the space \(H(C^{v})\) of entire functions provided with the compact-open topology, and on other power series spaces. He also establishes other Schauder decompositions, for \(H\) and other power series spaces, and investigates the corresponding functional calculus defined in the described way. The paper investigates the spectral properties and obtains spectral mapping theorems for this kind of functional calculus.
