    The main result of this paper shows that in sufficiently large positive characteristic, Kapranov's sheaf remains tilting on the Grassmannian. More precisely, let \(E\) be an \(n-\)dimensional \(k-\)linear space, \(V\) a \(k-\)dimensional subspace of \(E,\) \(G = GL(E),\) and \(\mathcal{P} = G/N_G(V).\) Let \(B\) be the Borel subgroup of \(G\) stabilizing a full flag \(\sum_{i=1}^n ke_i \geq \sum_{i=2}^n ke_i \geq \cdots ke_n.\) Let \(\mathcal{L}_\mathcal{B}(\lambda)\) be the invertible sheaf on the flag variety \(\mathcal{B} = G/B\) induced by the \(1-\)dimensional \(B\)-module \(\lambda\) for all \(\lambda \in \mathbb{Z}^{\oplus n},\) and \(\bar{\pi} : \mathcal{B} \rightarrow \mathcal{P}\) be the natural morphism. Let \(\Lambda_V^{+} = \{\lambda \in \mathbb{Z}^{\oplus k}| \lambda_{n-k+1} \geq \lambda_{n-k+2} \geq \cdots \geq \lambda_n\}\) and set \(\bar{\Lambda}_V^{+} = \{\lambda \in \Lambda_V^{+}| n-k \geq \lambda_{n-k+1}, \lambda_n \geq 0\}\). Then it is shown (1) For \(\text{char} \;\;k \geq n-1,\) for each \(\lambda, \mu \in \bar{\Lambda}_V^{+}\), and each \(i \geq 1,\) \(\text{Ext}_{\mathcal{P}}^i(\bar{\pi}_*\mathcal{L}_\mathcal{B}(0,\lambda),\bar{\pi}_*\mathcal{L}_\mathcal{B}(0,\mu)) = 0\). (2) Without characteristic restrictions, for each \(\lambda, \mu \in \bar{\Lambda}_V^{+},\) \[ \Hom_{\text{Mod} \mathcal{P}}(\bar{\pi}_*\mathcal{L}_\mathcal{B}(0,\lambda),\bar{\pi}_*\mathcal{L}_\mathcal{B}(0,\mu)) = \left\{ \begin{matrix} k & if \;\;\lambda = \mu \\ 0 & if\;\; \lambda \Delta \mu \end{matrix} \right. \] where \(\lambda \nabla \mu\) iff there is \(i \in [n-k+1,n]\) such that \(\lambda_{n-k+1} = \mu_{n-k+1}, \cdots \lambda_i = \mu_i, \lambda_{i+1} > \mu_{i+1}\). (3) For \(\text{char}\;\; k \geq n-1,\) \(\prod_{\lambda \in \bar{\Lambda}_V^{+}} \bar{\pi}_* \mathcal{L}_\mathcal{B} (0,\lambda)\) Karoubian generates \(D^b(\text{coh} \mathcal{P}).\)
