      The authors investigate a formulation for a self-consistent non-minimal five parameter Einstein-Yang-Mills-Higgs (EYMH) model by considering effective metrics. They use mathematical techniques very effectively to derive the relevant expressions such as reformulation of the master equations for the gauge, scalar and gravitational fields and associated metrics for the Yang-Mills fields. All these calculations are used for other aspects and extensions such as cosmological applications and velocities of propagation of longitudinal and transversal color and color-acoustic waves in a (quasi) vacuum interacting with curvature. By doing all these, the authors first give very instructive introduction for the problem of the paper. After this, they give mathematical analysis of the problem with some necessary background. These are given clearly and in order. At the end of the paper, they summarize very clearly what they did in their paper. The language of the paper is very clear and instructive. So, the authors present a very nice work by this paper.
