The author considers the class of operators \[ L= \biggl\{L_{\upsilon,u}^{\alpha} f(y)=y^u\int_0^{\infty} (xy)^{\upsilon} f(x) J_{\alpha}(xy)dx, f\in c_0^{\infty}(0,+\infty)\biggr\}, \] where \(J_{\alpha}(x)\) denotes the standard Bessel function of the first kind, \(\alpha\geq -\frac12\), \(\upsilon\) and \(u\) are real parameters. The mapping properties of the above operators are investigated for suitable values of parameters as well as operator norms \(L_{\upsilon, u}^{\alpha}\) in special cases. A few counter examples are also given in the appendix.
