Let \(T^{2}\) be the torus, that is, the Cartesian product of two unit circles in the complex plane. Let \(L^{2}(T^{2})\) and \(H^{2}(T^{2})\) be the usual Lebesgue and Hardy space on the torus \(T^{2}\), respectively. In this sequel to [Proc.\ Am.\ Math.\ Soc.\ 126, No.\,8, 2361--2368 (1998; Zbl 0896.47002)], the authors study Beurling-type invariant subspaces and a certain class of invariant subspace which contains the class of invariant subspaces of the form \(\phi H_{0}^{2}(T^{2})\), where \(H_{0}^{2}(T^{2})=\{ f \in H^{2}(T^{2}): f(0,0)=0 \}\) and \(\phi\) is a unimodular function in \(L^{\infty}(T^{2})\).
