A linear Lie algebra \(\mathfrak{g}\) is called of \textit{Ricci type} if every algebraic curvature tensor of type \(\mathfrak{g}\) is completely determined by its Ricci curvature. This implies, in particular, that every Ricci-flat torsion-free connection with holonomy algebra in \(\mathfrak{g}\) is flat. It is shown that \(\mathfrak{g}=\mathbb{C}\oplus \mathfrak{spin}(10,\mathbb{C})\) is of Ricci type. This corrects an omission in the paper ``Ricci-flat holonomy: a classification.'' [J. Geom. Phys. 57, No.~6, 1457--1475 (2007; Zbl 1149.53029)] by the same author.
