In an earlier paper, the authors already proved for \(2 \leq p, q \leq + \infty\) the \({\mathcal L}^p\)-\({\mathcal L}^q\) version of Hardy's Theorem [Forum Math. 18, No. 2, 245--262 (2006; Zbl 1101.22004)] known as the Cowling-Price Theorem, although a similar result is still unknown when \(1 \leq p, q \leq + \infty\) and the upshot is known only for few cases. In this paper, the authors continue dealing with this subject and prove the previously cited unknown result in the context of \(2 - NPC\) nilpotent Lie groups. They also give a proof of the analogue of Beurling's Theorem in the same context. To do this, they prove some preliminary technical results and apply a strategy consisting in bringing the study of the problem to the abelian context, which allows them to prove the Beurling Theorem for those \(2 - NPC\) nilpotent Lie groups. Finally, they give an analogue of the Cowling-Price Theorem for these groups, which covers the case when \(1 \leq p, q \leq + \infty\).
