Let \(\mathbb D\) be the unit disc in the complex plane, \(\mathbb T\) its boundary, and \(\mathcal A(\mathbb D)\) he the disc algebra. It is well-known that closed ideals of \(\mathcal A(\mathbb D)\) are standard, i.e., if \(\mathcal I\) is a closed ideal in the disc algebra, then there is an inner function \(U_{\mathcal I}\) (the greatest common divisor of the inner parts of the nonzero functions in \(\mathcal I\)) such that \[ \mathcal I=\{f\in\mathcal A(\mathbb D):\,f\mid_{E({\mathcal I})}\equiv 0, \;\text{and} \;f/U_{\mathcal I}\in{\mathcal H}^\infty({\mathbb D})\}, \] where \(E({\mathcal I})=\{\zeta\in{\mathbb T}:\, f(\zeta)=0 \;\forall f\in{\mathcal I}\}\). The author obtains a corresponding result for a class of analytic weighted Lipschitz algebras. The weighted Lipschitz algebra \(\Lambda_\omega({\mathbb D})\) consist of all functions functions \(f\in \mathcal A(\mathbb D)\) for which \[ {{| f(z)-f(w)|}\over{\omega(| z-w|)}}=o(1)\quad\text{as} \;| z-w|\rightarrow 0, \] where \(\omega\) is a modulus of continuity, i.e., a nondecreasing continuous real-valued function on \([0,2]\) with \(\omega(0)=0\) and \(\omega(t)/t\) nonincreasing such that \(\lim\limits_{t\to 0}\omega(t)/t=\infty\). The main result of the paper is the following theorem: Let the modulus of continuity \(\omega\) satisfy the following condition: for all \(1\leqslant \rho\leqslant 2\), there is \(\eta_\rho>0\) such that \(\omega(t^\rho)\geqslant\eta_\rho\omega^\rho(t)\) \((0\leqslant t\leqslant 2)\). Then every closed ideal of the algebra \(\Lambda_\omega({\mathbb D})\) is standard.
