The author considers the stationary Navier-Stokes equations \[ -\nu\Delta\vec u+\rho\vec u\cdot\nabla \vec u\nabla p=\rho\vec f\text{ in }\Omega,\quad\text{div}\,\vec u=0\text{ in }\Omega,\quad u=u_*\text{ on }\partial\Omega, \quad\lim_{| x|\to \infty}\vec u(x)=\vec u_\infty,\tag{1} \] where \(\Omega\) is a complement of a simply connected bounded domain in \(\mathbb{R}^3\). The purpose of this paper is to prove, under suitable smallness assumptions, existence and uniqueness of solutions to (1) that have better decay properties outside the wake region.
