Continuing their investigation of classes of sequences of positive real numbers [e.g.,\textit{D. Djurčić, Lj. D. R. Kočinac} and \textit{M. R. Žižović} J. Math. Appl. 327, No. 2, 1297--1306 (2007; Zbl 1116.26002)], the authors study the classes of rapidly varying, (almost) regularly varying and, introduced in this paper, rapidly convergent sequences. Amongst others, they show that these classes satisfy some selection principles and game theoretical properties.
