The problem of a two point \(G^1\) Hermite interpolation using the Cornu spiral (clothoid, Euler spiral) without pre-processing is considered. The solution proposed is based on bisection (Newton-Raphson iteration) which is simpler than numerical optimization. Five illustrative examples treat both \(C\)- and \(S\)-shape cases.
