For a coupled PDE system including a nonlinearly damped semilinear wave equation and a nonlinear system of thermoelastic plate equations (by M. Berger approach) without any viscous or structural dissipation in the plate component the existence of a compact, finite dimensional global attractor is proved. Then the theorem about the dimension and smoothness of this attractor and a stabilization estimate (which shows that the difference of any two trajectories can be exponentially stabilized to zero, modulo a compact perturbation) is proved.
