Stability and bifurcation analysis for a model of a nonlinear coupled pitch-roll ship (Q955282)

This paper considers a ship model with nonlinear coupled pitch and roll modes subjected to a sinusoidal harmonic excitation. The authors examine three types of critical points for the bifurcation equation near the combined resonance in the presence of internal resonance. For each case, they obtain the stability regions for initial equilibrium solutions and the critical bifurcation curves.
