Let \(M=[A\;a]\) be a matrix of order \(m\times n\), where \(A\in \mathbb R^{m\times (n - 1)}\) and \(a\in \mathbb R^m\) is an \(m\times 1\) vector. The authors present a formula for the Moore-Penrose inverse of \(M ^{*} M\) and obtain sufficient conditions for its nonnegativity.
