It is shown that any topologically transitive codimension-one Anosov flow on a closed manifold is topologically equivalent to a smooth Anosov flow that preserves a smooth volume. Using a classical theorem due to \textit{A. Verjovsky} [Bol.\ Soc.\ Mat.\ Mex., II. Ser.\ 19, 49--77 (1974; Zbl 0323.58014)], any higher-dimensional codimension-one Anosov flow is topologically transitive. Thanks to a result of \textit{S. N.\ Simić} [Volume preserving codimension one Anosov flows in dimensions greater than three are suspensions, preprint, \url{arXiv:math/0508024v3}], every higher-dimensional codimension-one Anosov flow preserving a smooth volume is topologically equivalent to the suspension of an Anosov diffeomorphism. Thus, the main result of the paper gives a complete classification of codimension-one Anosov flows up to topological equivalence in higher dimensions.
