Since the discovery of type II Arveson systems (arising from examples of spatial but not completely spatial \(E_0\)-semigroups due to Powers, an exciting class dicovered by the author, and as CP-flows by Powers) it was an open question if the automorphism group of such Arveson systems acts transitively on the set of units. The author shows by an explicit type II\(_1\) example that the automorphism group need \textit{not} act transitively on the set of units.
