Circular and conical meshes are investigated. The circular mesh is a quadrilateral mesh where each face has a circumcircle. The conical mesh is a planar quadrilateral mesh where the faces meeting in a vertex are tangent to a right circular cone. First, the parallel meshes inscribed or circumscribed to the unit sphere and parallel meshes at constant face of vertex distance are considered. Than, the geometry of circular and conical meshes is mentioned. After that, the relation between the geometry of the circular mesh and Möbius geometry as well as the relation between the geometry of the conical mesh and Laguerre geometry is reviewed. Next, the great importance to the discrete surface normals and focal surfaces of circular and conical meshes is attached. Finally, the close relation between circular and conical meshes is studied -- namely the meshes which are both circular and conical are presented.
