The paper introduces the concept of oriented coincidence index for pairs consisting of a nonlinear Fredholm operator and a multivalued mapping which can be represented as a composition of two multivalued mappings with aspherical values. Then, the authors investigate the properties of defined characteristics and present some applications to some classes of control systems governed by an implicit differential equation and an impulsive differential inclusion. The paper is interesting and well-written.
