Strong convergence theorems for a finite family of asymptotically nonexpansive mappings and semigroups (Q960209)

The authors obtain strong convergence theorems for a finite family of asymptotically nonexpansive mappings and semigroups by the modified Mann method. We remark that corresponding results are obtained for nonexpansive mappings (semigroups) and asymptotically nonexpansive mappings (semigroups), respectively, in the papers [\textit{T. H. Kim} and \textit{H. K. Xu}, Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl.\ 64, No.~5 (A), 1140--1152 (2006; Zbl 1090.47059); \textit{K. Nakajo} and \textit{W. Takahashi}, J. Math.\ Anal.\ Appl.\ 279, No.~2, 372--379 (2003; Zbl 1035.47048)].
