Let \(X\) be a complex manifold and \(\mathcal E\) be a holomorphic vector bundle on X. In a paper of Feigin, Losev and Shoikhet, the notion of FLS functional \(I_{\mathcal E}\) on E was introduced and it was proved that \(I_{\mathcal E} = I_X\) as linear functionals on H\(^{2n}(X,C)\) in the case where \(\mathcal E\) is a vector bundle of non-zero Euler characteristic. In this work, the author proves this result in the general case. The argument used is very natural from the geometrical point of view. As a byproduct, it is shown that this integral result is independent of the Riemann-Roch-Hirzebruch theorem.
