An important step of [\textit{O. A. Ladyzhenskaya}, The mathematical theory of viscous incompressible flow. New York etc.: Gordon and Breach Science Publishers (1969; Zbl 0184.52603)] in the investigation of the initial-boundary value problem to the Navier-Stokes equations is a solenoidal extension of the vector field from the boundary of the domain. In the reviewed article the author constructs the mentioned extension for a time depended domain. This extension is differentiable with respect to spatial variables and time \(t\). The result is based on the well known solvability in the Hölder classes of functions to the stationary Stokes problem \[ \Delta v(x)-\nabla p(x)=0,\quad \text{div\,}v(x)=0,\quad x\in\Omega\subset \mathbb R^3,\quad v|_S=a,\quad S=\partial\Omega. \] The extension result for quasi-stationary solutions to the Dirichlet and Neumann problems for the Laplace equation is preliminarily established in the paper.
