Both authors have already found original congruences in Number Theory: \textit{L.-L. Zhao, Hao Pan} and \textit{Z.-W. Sun} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 138, No. 1, 37--46 (2010; Zbl 1219.11034)]; \textit{Z.-W. Sun} [Isr. J. Math. 128, 135--156 (2002; Zbl 1168.11304)]; \textit{Zhi-Wei Sun} and \textit{Donald M. Davis} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 359, No. 11, 5525--5553 (2007; Zbl 1119.11016)]; \textit{Z.-W. Sun} [Acta Arith. 126, No. 4, 387--398 (2007; Zbl 1112.11011)]. The present paper recalls some results of such previous works in order to establish new congruences modulo prime powers. Through an exhaustive exposition it is clearly proven that the following congruence: \[ \sum_{0< i_1< \dots < i_n < p} \left(\frac{i_1}{3}\right) \frac{(-1)^{i_1}}{i_1 \dots i_n} \equiv 0 \pmod p \] holds with any positive odd integer \(n\) being \(p>n+1\) a prime. Among the noticeable consequences there is the confirmation of an interesting conjecture formulated by Zhi-Wei Sun while working with Roberto Tauraso on similar problems in 2008 [\url{arxiv:0709.1665}].
