The aim of this paper is to obtain the hydrodynamic behavior of two species exclusion process governed by SOS (solid on solid) dynamics. The two species exclusion process describes the evolution of a system of mechanically distinguishable particles, say \(+\) particles and \(-\) particles. These are moving (via exchanges) on a discrete lattice (\(d\)-dimensional discrete torus) under the constraint that at most one particle can occupy given site. The model is complicated by inclusion of the effects of creation and annihilation of particles. In this work it is proven that under rescaling of space and time the description of evolution of the ``charged'' particle density (in the sense described above) converges to the solution of a certain nonlinear diffusion-like equation. The spectrum of the nonlinear operator associated with this equation is studied for the case of finite volume.
