Assume \(M\) is a connected Stein manifold of dimension \(n > 1\) whose automorphism group contains a topological subgroup that is isomorphic to the automorphism group of a product of balls, i.e., \(\mathbb B_{n_1}\times \cdots\times\mathbb B_{n_s}\), where \(\sum_{j=1}^{s}n_j = n\). The authors show that \(M\) is biholomorphic to this product.
