Let \(X=G/P\) be a rational homogeneous variety of type ADE. If \(E\) is an \textit{irreducible} vector bundle on \(X\), the Borel-Weil-Bott formula computes the dimension of \(H^0(E)\). The author studies a generalization of the formula to the reducible case. Let \(\mathrm{gr}(E)\) be the associated graded bundle and take a decomposition \(\mathrm{gr}(E)=\bigoplus E_i\otimes V_i\), where each \(V_i\) is the multiplicity space. Take all the pairs of summands \(E_i\), \(E_j\) with \(H^1(E_j)=H^0(E_i)\). The author considers the quiver of \(X\), whose vertices are irreducible bundles \(F\) on \(X\) and an arrow links \(F\) and \(F'\) whenever \(\Hom(\Omega^1_X\otimes F,F')\neq 0\). Given \(E_i,E_j\) as above, and a path joining them in the quiver, one finds a quiver map \(V_i\to V_j\) which determines a distinguished map \(H^0(E_i\otimes V_i)\to H^0(E_j\otimes V_j)\). Putting all together these maps, one gets a global morphism \(c_0: \mathrm{gr}(E)\to \mathrm{gr}(E)\). The author proves that \(H^0(E)= \ker(c_0).\)
