The following problem is studied: for given matrices \( X \in \mathbb{C}^{n \times p}, Y \in \mathbb{C}^{n \times q}, \Lambda \in \mathbb{C}^{p \times p}, \mu \in \mathbb{C}^{q \times q}, R, S \in \mathbb{C}^{n\times n} \), where \( \Lambda \) and \( \mu \) are of diagonal form, and \( R, S \) are generalized nontrivial reflection matrices, find a generalized reflexive matrix \( A \in \mathbb{C}^{n \times n} \) solving both the left and right inverse eigenvalue problem \( Y^* A = \mu Y^* \) and \( AX = X\Lambda \). Here, \( \mathbb{C}^{m \times n} \) denotes the space of all complex \( m \times n \)-matrices, and \( Y^* \) denotes the conjugate transpose of \( Y \). In addition, a matrix \( R \in \mathbb{C}^{n\times n} \) is called a generalized nontrivial reflection matrix if \( R^* = R^{-1} \neq \pm I_n \), the identity matrix of order \( n \), and \( A \in \mathbb{C}^{n \times n} \) is called a generalized reflexive matrix if \(RAS = A\). Solvability conditions for this problem are derived, and general solutions are given. In addition, the authors give a representation of the matrix which minimizes, in the set of general solutions \( A \) of the problem stated above, the distance to a given matrix with respect to the Frobenius norm. Both problems are also considered in a similar setting, with generalized reflexive matrices replaced by generalized anti-reflexive matrices \( A \), i.e., \(RAS = -A \) is required here. Finally, results of numerical experiments are provided.
