The object of the study in the paper is the following vector singularly perturbed boundary value problem for the integro-differential equations: \[ x'+ g(t,\varepsilon, x,y,J)= 0,\quad x(1,\varepsilon)= a(\varepsilon),\tag{1} \] \[ \varepsilon y''+ f(t,\varepsilon, x,y,J)= 0,\quad y(0,\varepsilon)= b(\varepsilon),\quad y(1,\varepsilon)= c(\varepsilon),\tag{2} \] where \(x,y,g,f,a,b,c\in \mathbb{R}^n\), \(J= J(y)= \int^1_t \varphi(t,s,\varepsilon) y(s)\,ds\) and \(\varphi(t,s,\varepsilon)\in C([0,1]\times [0,1]\times [0,\varepsilon_0])\), where \(0<\varepsilon< 1\) is a parameter. Under some assumptions (too involved to be quoted here) the author proves that problem (1)--(2) has a couple of solutions \((x(t,\varepsilon), y(t,\varepsilon))\). In the proof the methods of the theory of differential equations and inequalities, the Banach contraction principle and the method of successive approximations are employed.
