The connection between Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equations and hypergeometric integrals was the initiation of the conjecture that if the space of singular vectors of certain weight is one dimensional, then there exists a real integration domain such that a closed-form evaluation exists for the \(g\)-Selberg integral. For \(g={\mathfrak{sl}}_2\) its evaluation leads to the Selberg integral. In the present paper the author has employed the Macdonald polynomials to prove a Cauchy-type identity. This, after imposing a classical limit, produces a new \({\mathfrak{sl}}_3\) generalization of the Selberg integral. Generalised evaluation symmetry is used to show its implementation to a multivariable generation of Heine's transformation formula. Related results obtained by the author are a \({\mathfrak{sl}}_3\)-analogue of the Askey-Habsieger-Kadell \(q\)-Selberg integral and an extension of the \(q\)-Selberg integral to a transformation between \(q\)-integrals of different dimensions.
