Permanence and existence of periodic solutions for a generalized system with feedback control (Q969159)

This paper deals with the permanence and the existence of positive periodic solutions to the following general nonlinear nonautonomous delay differential system with feedback control \[ \frac{dx}{dt}=x(t)[F(t, x(t-\tau_1(t)), \cdots, x(t-\tau_n(t)))-c(t)u(t-\delta(t)), \] \[ \frac{du}{dt}=-\eta(t)u(t)+a(t)x(t-\sigma(t)). \] By employing some differential inequalities, two sufficient conditions are obtained. When these results are applied to special population models with multiple delays and feedback control, some new results are obtained and some known results are generalized.
