The setting for this article is a bounded, circular, strictly convex domain~\(\Omega\) in~\(\mathbb{C}^n\) with boundary of class~\(C^2\). Let \(r(z)\) denote the Minkowski functional of~\(\Omega\), that is, the infimum of positive numbers~\(\rho\) such that \(z\in\rho\Omega\). Let \(H^\beta(\Omega)\) (where \(\beta>0\)) denote the space of holomorphic functions~\(f\) on~\(\Omega\) for which \(\sup_{z\in\Omega} |f(z)|(1-r(z))^\beta<\infty\), and let \(A^p_\alpha(\Omega)\) (where \(p>0\) and \(\alpha>-1\)) denote the space of holomorphic functions~\(f\) on~\(\Omega\) for which \(|f|^p\) is integrable with respect to Lebesgue measure weighted by the factor \((1-r(z))^\alpha\). If \(\varphi\) is a holomorphic self-mapping of the domain and \(u\)~is a holomorphic function on the domain, then \(f\mapsto (f\circ\varphi)u\) defines a weighted composition operator on holomorphic functions. \textit{E.\,Doubtsov} [C.\,R., Math., Acad.\ Sci.\ Paris 347, No.\,11--12, 609--612 (2009; Zbl 1166.32004)] proved that this weighted composition operator maps \(H^\beta(\Omega)\) boundedly to \(A^p_\alpha(\Omega)\) if and only if the operator is compact, and both properties are characterized by the function \(|u(z)|^p/(1-r(\varphi(z)))^{\beta p}\) being integrable with respect to Lebesgue measure weighted by the factor \((1-r(z))^\alpha\). The same paper contains an analogous theorem when the space \(H^\beta(\Omega)\) is replaced by the space of holomorphic functions~\(f\) satisfying the logarithmic growth condition that \(\sup_{z\in\Omega} |f(z)|/\log(e/(1-r(z))) <\infty\). The paper under review proves corresponding results for holomorphic functions~\(f\) satisfying a growth estimate of the form \(\sup_{z\in\Omega} |f(z)|(1-r(z))^\beta (\log(e/(1-r(z))))^\gamma <\infty\).
