Let \(n\) be a natural number and \(B\) be the open unit ball of \(\mathbb{C}^{n}\). For a function \(f\) in the space \(H(B)\) of all holomorphic functions on \(B\), define the radial derivative of \(f\) by \[ \left(\mathfrak{R}f\right) \left( z\right) =\sum_{j=1}^{n}z_{j} \frac{\partial f}{\partial z_{j}}\left( z\right). \] For a holomorphic self-map \(\varphi\) on \(B\) and \(g\in H(B)\), the map \(T_{g,\varphi}\) given by \[ \left(T_{g,\varphi}f\right) \left( z\right) =\int_{0}^{1}\frac{\left( f\circ\varphi\right) \left( tz\right) \left( \mathfrak{R}f\right) \left( tz\right) }{t}\;\mathrm{d}t \] can be considered as an operator acting between generalized weighted Bergman spaces and \(\mu\)-Bloch spaces (where \(\mu\) is a normal function on \([0,1)\)). The paper under review provides several interesting necessary and sufficient conditions for such a \(T_{g,\varphi}\) to be, on the one hand, bounded, and, on the other hand, compact.
