In this paper a continuous family of canonical invariants of finite reflection groups is introduced, by using Dunkl operators. It is shown that the elementary canonical invariants of symmetric groups are deformations of the elementary symmetric polynomials. For dihedral groups these invariants are computed explicitly, as certain hypergeometric functions.
