Let \[ T_m(f, g)= \int_{\mathbb{R}^{2d}} m(\xi_1, \xi_2)\widehat f(\xi_1)\widehat g(\xi_2) e^{2\pi i(\xi_1+ \xi_2)x} d\xi_1 d\xi_2, \] where \(f,g\in S(\mathbb{R}^d)\), be a bilinear Fourier multiplier with symbol \(m\), and let \[ {\mathfrak M}(f,g)= \sup_j\,|T_{m_j}(f,g)(x)|, \] where \(j= 1,2,\dots, N\), be the maximal operator. There is given an estimation \(\|{\mathfrak M}(f,g)\|_p\leq C\sqrt{\log(N+2)}\| f\|_{p_1}\| g\|_{p_2}\), where \(1/2< p<\infty\) and \({1\over p_1}+ {1\over p_2}= {1\over p}\). This estimation is proved to be sharp.
