    Let \(K= \mathbb{Q}(\sqrt{-D})\) with \(D= 4,8\), or \(p\), where \(p\) is a rational prime congruent to 3 modulo 4, and let \(H\) denote the class group of \(K\). For \(A\in H\), let us choose an ideal \({\mathfrak a}\) in \(A\) and a \(\mathbb{Z}\)-basis \(\{\lambda,\mu\}\) of a with \(\text{Im}(\lambda^{-1}\mu)> 0\). Let \(f\) be a Hecke eigenform of weight \(l\) for \(\text{SL}_2(\mathbb{Z})\) given by the Fourier expansion \[ f(z)= \sum^\infty_{n=1} a(n) e^{2\pi inz} \] and normalized by the condition \(a(1)= 1\); let \(\chi\) be a Hecke character of \(K\) satisfying the condition \(\chi((\alpha))= (\alpha/|\alpha|)^l\) for \(\alpha\in K^*\). The number \[ P(A):= \chi({\mathfrak a})^{l/2} \lambda^{-l} f(\lambda^{-1}\mu) \] depends only on the ideal class \(A\); let \({\mathcal P}:= \sum_{A\in H}P(A)\). Let \(\psi\) be the quadratic Dirichlet character corresponding to the extension \(K|\mathbb{Q}\) and let \[ L(s):= L(\psi, 2s)\sum_{{\mathfrak a}} a(N{\mathfrak a})\chi({\mathfrak a})N{\mathfrak a}^{-(2+(l- 1)/2)}, \] where \({\mathfrak a}\) ranges over the integral ideals of \(K\), be the Rankin convolution attached to the pair \((f,\chi)\). The author proves that \({\mathcal P}\in\mathbb{R}\) and that \[ L(1/2)= (2\pi)^{l+1} wD^{(l-1)/2}((l- 1)!)^{-1}{\mathcal P}^2 \] with \(w= 1/4\) if \(D= 4\), \(w= 1/9\) if \(D= 3\), and \(w= 1\) for other \(D\).
