Let \(d(a,b;n)=\sum\limits_{n=h^{a}r^{b}}1\), \(D(a,b;x)=\sum\limits_{n\leq x}d(a,b;n)\), and let \(\Delta(a,b;x)\) denote the error term of the asymmetric two-dimensional divisor problem. The authors obtain the relation between \(\sum\limits_{n\leq T}\Delta^{2}(a,b;n)\) and \(\int^{T}_{1}\Delta^{2}(a,b;x)\,dx\). The proof is based on the method of Furuya. For Part I, see Monatsh. Math. 159, No. 1--2, 185--209 (2010; Zbl 1208.11114).
